Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026. Last updated: 2026.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LocalFork, a digital coupon-book platform provided by OH Sweet Hospitality ("LocalFork," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using LocalFork, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. Who we serve
LocalFork is provided to three groups of users:
- Chambers of Commerce and similar organizations ("Chambers") that sell digital coupon books to their community.
- Member businesses of those chambers ("Members") that contribute coupons.
- Consumers who purchase a coupon book and redeem coupons at member businesses.
Different sections of these Terms apply to different groups. We'll call that out where relevant.
2. Your account
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Please keep your password confidential and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Member business and chamber accounts must be created by an authorized representative of the organization.
3. The service
LocalFork provides software for chambers to publish, sell, and track redemptions of a digital coupon book. We do not own, control, or guarantee the offers in any coupon book — those are created and published by the chamber and its member businesses.
Coupon validity, redemption terms, and the underlying goods or services are the sole responsibility of the issuing business. We are not a party to any transaction between you and a member business.
4. Payments and refunds
4.1 For consumers
When you purchase a coupon book, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. on our behalf and on behalf of the chamber that published the book. Stripe's own terms apply to that payment.
Refund eligibility is determined by the chamber that issued the book. Contact the chamber directly to request a refund. We may assist in coordinating refunds but the chamber holds the final decision.
4.2 For chambers
Chambers using LocalFork pay a platform fee (described in the chamber's separate service agreement) plus standard Stripe processing fees. The chamber is responsible for the price, refund policy, and legal compliance of every book they publish.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use LocalFork for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to redeem any coupon you didn't legitimately purchase.
- Copy, sell, transfer, or share coupon codes with anyone else.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Use the service to send spam or harass other users.
- Submit coupons that are false, misleading, deceptive, or unlawful.
6. Intellectual property
LocalFork retains all rights, title, and interest in the platform, software, and brand. Member businesses retain ownership of their content (logos, coupon descriptions, etc.) but grant LocalFork and the chamber a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store that content in connection with operating the service.
7. Termination
You may stop using LocalFork at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that engage in fraudulent activity, or that pose a risk to other users.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We're not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or honoring of any coupon by a member business. Disputes about offers should be raised with the business or its chamber.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OH Sweet Hospitality and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OH Sweet Hospitality from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lyon County, Minnesota.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or by posting a notice on the service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
